Please inspect all cartons before installation for Color, Quantity and Quality expectations based on each products intended styling. Any discrepancy must be reported within 5-days.
Tile and stone are subject to variations in color, size and quality. In our showrooms, Buena Tile + Stone displays only first quality materials and we warrant that all materials are suitable for the purposes intended. Because of the inherent variation in tile and stone products we cannot guarantee that your order will be identical to the showroom sample.
Most tiles are categorized in lots and there can be significant differences between lots. We therefore encourage you to plan for future needs when purchasing.
The use of contrasting grout with light-colored tile would be avoided to prevent staining of the product.
Because product variation is subject to interpretation, installation constitutes acceptance. Claims after installation are limited to technical performance by the manufacturer and will remain their responsibility under each manufacturer’s terms + conditions.
Buena Tile + Stone limits warranties to the stated limited liability warranty expressed by the manufacturer. The staff of Buena Tile cannot grant additional warranty without prior written approval from the manufacturer.

We strongly encourage of the usage of manufacturer warranties when it comes to setting material systems. The warranties, based on levels of product quality, add very little cost to your overall project, but they can give you anywhere from 5-10 years of functional performance to a lifetime warranty for things like avoiding a crack running across your floor or leak in your shower system. Each vendor on our technical page has product warranty solutions for your needs and budget.
We assume no responsibility or liability for any labor or material after installation. Under no circumstances will our responsibility exceed the cost price of the tile to our customers.
We are not responsible for quantities estimated by you, your contractor or your set of plans. We neither encourage overage or underage as a strategy. Your waste and attic stock needs must be considered when ordering. Shortages lead to extended install times, dye lot changes, extra freight and other inconvenient expenses that will outweigh their initial savings. The life-cycle of product styling shortens constantly. Repairs, cabinet changes and other routine situations call for more than just a tile or two on floors. On the other hand, we do not want you to have 20% more than you needed on a large floor either (See Return Policy below).
All prices are quoted F.O.B our warehouse location unless a specific option is provided on your order. Freight from a manufacturer’s location is provided as a service to our location to ensure its quality + correctness. This freight charge will appear on your invoice.
Due to the large inventory of products we sell, not every item is always in stock at the Buena Tile + Stone warehouse. When you purchase an item not in stock we will advise you of the anticipated receive date. From time-to-time products may be backordered from the manufacturer. When this occurs we will keep you informed of the expected ship date.
Buena Tile + Stone sells only first quality materials from the same lot – unless an agreed to in writing acceptance of product condition is offered. We therefore accept returns on stocked materials only with a 30% restocking fee within 15-days from ship date. This policy covers unopened materials only and is limited to tile. Stone, fabrication and setting materials are not returnable. All freight back to the nearest Buena location must be sent Pre-Paid.

No Returns on any cementitious, organic, silicone, alcohol, xylene, solvent, acrylic, urethane or epoxy adhesive, grout or sealing products.
